001 - Video

[The image shows up slightly tilted, and focused rather interestingly on Judith’s well-endowed chest. She has her clothes on, thankfully, but those still don’t leave terribly much to the imagination. The image spins dizzyingly, as if the person holding it suddenly turned the device around, then lands back on approximately the same image.]

Strange. I can’t tell if it’s doing anything.

[A slight sigh can be heard.]

If someone left this here for me, it would have been nice for them to tell me how to use it.

[The image shifts again, finally catching part of her face, though at an odd angle. She looks a little frustrated, but more puzzled than anything else. After apparently staring at the screen for a moment, she looks away and tilts the device again, leaving the camera pointing at the ceiling this time.]

It doesn’t even look like it’s a blastia...

A year or two? How is that-- [She stops, reminding herself that practically nothing here has made sense so far. She takes a second to fully regain composure.]

Last I recall, we were getting ready to deal with the Adephagos.

[And as far as she's concerned, that was less than a day ago.]

Oh...yeah. [Rita's past that, but first things first.]

Everything about this place should be impossible, but here's the basics: people get sucked in from different worlds, we get returned to the time we left, and usually people come back without their memories. So you could be here for years everything will just carry on like normal once you get back home.

It's nice to know that this doesn't affect the world we came from, I suppose.

[She grumbles, and then resumes the explanation.]

The last time I was home, the Adephagos was a thing of the past.

[It's a little sad that Raven and Karol aren't here, too, but that's probably better for them, anyway.]
